Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This wine marks the very first Sauvignon Banc aged in our "Oeuf en Beton" concrete egg produced by Beauregard Vineyards. Almost crystal-clear in the glass with a touch of green, this bottling shows broad aromas of crisp asian pear, peach, squeezed lime and wet stone. Aged in the concrete egg 'sur lees' gives the wine body with a creamy mouth feel. The wine has tension from sip to satisfying sip. The palate matches the aromas with elegant flavors of stone fruit, lime zest, and a unmistakable minerality that can only come from the Santa Cruz Mountains that is beautifully framed with striking acidity. Serve slightly chilled (45F) in a large Bordeaux stem. Enjoy between 2019 - 2023.
