Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This wine marks the very first Santa Cruz Mountain Sauvignon Banc produced by Beauregard Vineyards. Almost crystal-clear in the glass with a touch of green, this bottling shows broad aromas of crisp asian pear, peach, squeezed lime and wet stone. There is a sharp texture and tension from sip to satisfying sip. The palate matches the aromas with elegant flavors of stone fruit, lime zest, and a unmistakable minerality that can only come from the Santa Cruz Mountains that is beautifully framed with striking acidity. Serve slightly chilled (45F) in a large Bordeaux stem. Enjoy between 2017 - 2022.

Once again, these folks have made something that is light-years ahead of what the varietal normally can do. This is an incredible wine: lean, bracingly strong, excellent without food and better with. I'd highly recommend decanting it.
